Early in 2002 Tim began his bead odyssey in a tiny Italian village in Umbria where he learned the basics of lampworking. He spent a week trying his hand at this ancient craft using nothing but a table-mounted propane torch. That week-long intensive course has blossomed into a full-time beadmaking career.

In addition to the beads he designs and produces for BeadedLily.com and its' Florence, Italy retail location, Tim has also made glass beads for a number of design houses, both big and small. Chanel featured his beads in their summer and fall 2006 line. He also received commissions from the famous Italian design house Ferragamo and Germany-based Escada, as well. He continues to supply a myriad of smaller designers, in Europe, North America and as far away as Australia, with his ever-expanding line of hand-made glass beads.
